I'll second that Bill
A great turn out and a heck of a lot of work done. On a personal note I met a few new people today and an old school pal who I hadn't seen for over 16 years. Everyone worked extremely hard and Dave (I think???) carried all the weed from the banks and put it into the trees out of the way. Well done you just never give up. Not sure of the names but the lads with the waders on grafted non stop from 10am and were still grafting hard when I left them at 4pm.
I think the water will fish alot better now that the majority of the thick weed has been removed and I feel confident that I wont have a repeat of my last attempted carp landing when I try the water later in the week. Look out Harry here I come

hope you're working on a mark 2 rake for the next time we do battle with the weed? My mark 1 did well but its a little heavy so thinking of making a smaller light weight version for everyday use
