Re: Next meeting
A fishing club without "fish" is like a boating club without a boat!!!!!!!jeff w wrote:Colin i think the next meeting is tuesday 27th jan.

I like the way Blyth fishing club is run for the members, it's like a fishing club should be run!!!!!

Merry Christmas Colin

Re: Next meeting
I'm not aware of any angling clubs in the local area who have empty/un stocked lakes!.

Re: Next meeting
Oh dear its starting to sound like some other forums I've read, slagging of other clubs' committee etc . I'd like to think we were above that. What others forums do is up to them .
BFAC committee outlined the stocking policy at the AGM and it was passed by the members. I'm sure that there are perceived problems at other clubs, but that is a matter for them and their members to come to terms with. I dont think It will give our club any credibility to allow this forum to start being a platform for people to start criticising other clubs.
On another point it should be noted that the maximum memebership is now 150 which was also passed at the AGM and there are a lot of applications! Members should make sure they dont foget fee deadlines (see constitution). Prospective members should act with haste.
Regards Mel

Re: Next meeting
Hi Colin,
Welcome to Blyth FAC The waters are the best i've ever fished in the North East and the committee are a sound bunch who do a great job for the members. BFAC is managed very well and the waters fish thier socks off
You probably know me from my past so if you do say hello if you see me around the water.
