Largest hooks usable?

Just been reading the club rules and i'm a little puzzled

Rule 9 No barbed or flattened barbed hooks allowed at anytime also the largest hooks to be used are number 10.

Rule 10 Micro barbed hooks can only be used when fishing for carp only up to size 6.

Rule 9 seems to suggest the largest hooks I can use to be size 10 yet rule 10 suggests I can use up to size 6?



Can anyone clarify for me please?
