my brotherinlaw and myself have been fishing meggies two or three times over the last two weeks and have noticed when we got there in the mornings that a couple of herons flew off the pond just wondering if any body knew this as it could be a problem

hi kev the herons have been there for quiet a while ,as far as i know they are not mutch of a problem, if you think they are then bring it up at the next meeting, i think they only take small fish and there are boat loads, but i could be wrong so if anybody knows better please let us know .

A heron will have a pop at any size fish if it gets the chance but I do believe they will mostly go for the small ones as they are more likely to be within reach of the heron in the shallow areas
